A API Sting é mais que uma camada de aplicação responsável pela interface entre o banco de dados STING_RDB e o front-end, uma vez que através dela usuários do mundo todo podem acessar os dados dos descritores físico-químicos e estruturais de qualquer estrutura proteica depositada no Protein Data Bank (PDB). The Sting API is more than an application layer responsible for the interface between the STING_RDB database and the front-end since through it users from all over the world can access the data of the physical-chemical and structural descriptors of any protein structure deposited. in the Protein Data Bank (PDB).
